Our Company
History
University of South Alabama Federal Credit Union (USAFCU) was chartered in 1960 as Mobile General Federal Credit Union. After ownership of Mobile General Hospital was transferred to the University of South Alabama in 1970, the Credit Union eventually changed its name to University of South Alabama Federal Credit Union. Today, the Credit Union serves over 8,600 members. USAFCU is a member-owned, not-for-profit institution serving the needs of its members by offering an array of financial services.
